Tina Sederholm presents EVERYTHING WRONG WITH YOU IS BEAUTIFUL

Oxfordshire theatre-maker Tina Sederholm brings her critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show, Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful to the Guildford Fringe Festival on 12th July, 2019.

Poet and raconteur Tina Sederholm knows she is an adult but has always felt like the problem child. As her father is consumed by Alzheimer’s, she tries to find out the facts behind a family story that never rang true. But as Tina digs deeper, she finds that memory is often unreliable and truth, more a matter of opinion. A bittersweet, funny, middle-aged rite of passage, Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful is an elegy to reconciliation, even in heartbreaking circumstances.

Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful combines memoir, comedy and poetry to create an intimate and tender story. Tina says, ’It took me ages to admit to myself that there was a well-buried question from my childhood that refused to go away. When I finally built the show around it, I got that ‘click’ inside that told me this was a story that needed to be told. The trouble was, I didn’t want to tell it. And yet twenty-five performances later, here I am, touring it around the country.’

Tina Sederholm has travelled a curious career path from International three-day event rider to renowned performance poet. A multiple slam-winner, she has performed all over the country for the last fifteen years but this is the first time she has brought a show to Guildford.

‘Guildford Fringe is gaining a great reputation amongst Fringe performers and I can’t wait to be part of it. Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful is a show that is very close to my heart and I hope the Guildford audience will enjoy the journey I take them on.’

Stunning… reduced myself and other audience members to the  sensitive and teary-eyed children we’re all hiding inside.’ ***** Three Weeks
