Guildford Fringe Festival are over the moon to announce their second chosen charity for 2015, Challengers.
Challengers is a local charity that provides vital play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people aged 2 – 25 across Surrey and Hampshire. Challengers currently supports over 1,500 families and last year delivered over 138,000 hours of play. Challengers have two static sites, the play centre in Stoke Park, Guildford and a play and a youth centre in Farnham. In addition to this there are also 16 pop up schemes that run on the weekends and throughout the school holidays in Surrey and Hampshire.
What makes Challengers different is that they are completely inclusive, meaning every child is welcome no matter the severity of their impairment. The activities are always age appropriate and can range from a day at one of the centres to trips out and about including donutting and trips to London.
Challengers have some amazing events happening through-out the year and you can check them all our at their website HERE
