You’re sat in a theatre watching a bearded, bespectacled man telling jokes and divining thing
about members of the audience he couldn’t possibly know. He turns to you. You’re about to have an experience like nothing else with Peter Antoniou, the ‘psychic’ comedian.
Direct from London’s West End, Award-winning ‘Psychic’ Comedian Peter Antoniou brings his unique skillset to peer inside your head, fondle your frontal lobe and tickle your funny bone. Part life advice, part stand-up comedy, part psychic demonstration, this show is a truly unique and unpredictable experience that showcases Peter’s quick wit and phenomenal ability to pick up thoughts
The show rotates around a very simple idea: If you could ask a psychic a question what would it be? It could be about your past, present, future, your love life, or what colour your underwear is. It doesn’t matter what it is, Peter has an answer for you. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes touching, not even Peter knows what is coming up next as each person used in the show is chosen by the roll of a dice.
Peter is quick to point out that he isn’t talking to the dead though. “I can talk to the dead. The problem is they don’t talk back, which I think is rude because it’s not like they are up to much,” he quips. The show is much more about human connection. “Everyone has a special story, an interest fact, a personal quandary that is unique to them”, Peter explains. “My skill is to pull those stories
out of people’s brains and stitch them together to make a show”.
For the last year Peter has been on tour as featured artist of the ‘Evening Of Burlesque’ tour going to the UK’s biggest theatres, and also taking his solo show across the world performing for royalty and blue-chip companies.
He has garnered critical acclaim from The Scotsman (“His ad libs are fast and sharp… a fair balance between humour and astonishment”), WhatsOnStage (“Prepare to be flabbergasted *****”), Chortle (“Witty and mischievous… exceptionally good”), and Broadway Baby (“He should be put on a Pedestal above his competitors.****”).
Peter is bringing his solo show to G Live as part of Guildford Fringe, to give the audience an intimate experience of mind reading and comedy.
