The filmmaking team behind the independent movie ‘Survivors’ are proud to announce a special screening as part of this years Guildford Fringe Festival.
Written, Filmed and Edited Locally. The film will be joined at the screening by the short film ‘WANDER’ by local filmmakers Lowkey Films.
‘We’re so thrilled to be able to bring Survivors home’ says director Adam Spinks, ‘We shot it locally so it’s really great to have been embraced at the fringe’
After being completed last year, Survivors has racked up multiple festival screenings and award nominations around the world, winning Best Director at the MAC Horror Festival in Manaus in December and having it’s London Festival premiere at Unrestricted View in May.
When a biotechnology facility began advertising for volunteers to take part in it’s latest series of medical tests, nobody could have predicted it would turn out like this.
A stirring and thought provoking film, Survivors is the story of three people caught up in the disruption and destruction as the facility lose control, their illegal experiments finally revealed to the world.
The screening of the film will be followed by a Q and A with local filmmakers, including the Survivors director. ‘It’s been an amazing experience’ says the Director of making the film ‘to have done it how we’ve done it, with the budget we had, we’re keen to share those experiences with everyone’
