Janie has won the Olivier, Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle awards for Best Actress; the Obie and Theatre World awards for Best Newcomer; and the UK Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Musical.
This year she starred in the West End transfer of the Broadway hit Hand to God, which was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Comedy, and performed in Shakespeare at the Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.
Joining Janie on stage, direct from his residence at London’s foremost cabaret room The Crazy Coqs, supreme cabaret performer and ultimate Panto villain Kit Hesketh-Harvey returns to Guildford as Abanazar.
Following her captivating performance in the West End production of War Horse, Emma Thornett will play the title role of Aladdin this Christmas.
Surrey and Hampshire’s favourite breakfast show host, Eagle Radio’s Peter Gordon takes to the stage in a glorious flurry of fabulous frocks as Guildford’s magnificent Panto Dame, Widow Twankey.
Have your raincoats at the ready! Armed with water pistols and custard pies galore, Panto favourite Jamie Brook can’t wait to entertain you as lovable Wishee Washee.
Attempting to bring order to the chaos of the Chinese Laundry, PC Pongo will be played by none other than film star Ray Griffiths.
