Country Mile Productions in association with PBJ Management proudly presents:

Winner of Bath Festival New Comedian of the Year 2022 and Best Edinburgh Show Amused Moose Nominee 2022 Adam Flood (ITV’s ‘Stand Up Sketch Show’) is set to bring his debut stand-up hour ‘Adam Flood: Remoulded’ to the Guildford Fringe Festival at The Back Room of The Star Inn on 13 July 2023 at 7:30 pm.

Stoke-on-Trent’s premium cultural export Adam Flood brings you a preview of his debut comedy show all about reinvention, with a few tricks* up his sleeve. Expect high-energy tales from his many lives, including being a 13-year-old ‘illicit entrepreneur’, indie band rockstar, and start-up kingpin, with plenty of daft twists, vocal effects and songs from the (failed) musician. *Spent whole budget on an autotune pedal.

Adam Flood is a comedian, writer, actor and (failed) musician, as seen on ITV’s ‘Stand Up Sketch Show’ and heard performing on BBC Radio 4’s comedy series of ‘DMs Are Open’.

Having begun stand-up in 2018, Adam was nominated shortly after for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2019, performing live on BBC Radio 4. His live performances grew throughout the 2020 lockdowns, navigating the government rules, he hosted live comedy shows from a barber shop window into the street attracting crowds of hundreds for each show, featuring comics such as Josie Long, Eshaan Akbar and Sam Campbell. At this time, he also gained hundreds of thousands of views making online sketches across the handle @floodhaha.

Back on the circuit, in 2022 he won Bath Festival New Act of the Year, was a finalist in the NATYs and was runner-up in Leicester Square Sketch Off with his sketch duo ‘Dregs’. That same year, Adam’s 45-minute work in progress was a breakout success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Selling over 1,000 tickets, ‘Adam Flood: Clayhead’ was nominated for Most Outstanding Show in the Amused Moose Comedy Awards and best poster in the Comedy Poster Awards, all setting him up for an exciting debut hour in 2023.

Adam has also performed as tour support for comedians Eshaan Akbar, Brennan Reece and Phil Wang. As an actor, he has been in two yet to be released comedy shorts with executive producer Hannah Moulder, one short starring Amy Gledhill and the other starring Luke McQueen and Nick Helm

‘Unexpected darts of deft hilarity’ ★★★★ Lancashire Post
