Welcome to our brand new feature, A View from The Fringe.
The entertainment options in Guildford have never been more varied, from national productions at The Yvonne Arnaud and the famous names appearing at G Live, to less mainstream events staged at the numerous smaller venues in an around town.
We want to salute all those people that have the guts to add to our entertainment scene, the venue managers prepared to take risks in hosting an unknown play, show sponsors and backers, those people that work tirelessly to promote events and of course, the performers themselves
So, as we approach Fringe 2019, we begin our new feature by tipping our hat to some of the people that have been with us from the very start, staunch supporters and great friends, providers of encouragement and wise counsel, we may have been able to do it without them but it wouldn’t have been nearly as easy or anywhere near as much fun!
