Guildford Fringe Festival is Surrey’s premier open-access, multi-arts festival. It offers all genres of art including: theatre, music, comedy, dance, exhibitions, talks, film, cabaret, kids’ workshops and poetry nights.

The Festival, now in its fourth year, is looking bigger and better than ever before. We have new venues, new acts and new events to brighten up the Arts diary in Guildford.

Events run throughout the whole of July (1st-31st) and The Star Inn, Quarry Street, will still be the main Festival venue. We of course have the old favourites of The Keep, The Keystone and The Stoke still playing host to some fabulous events, but are thrilled to also welcome Kokomo Cocktail Bar and The Guildford Institute into our 2016 venue line-up.

Jack the Ripper Talk

‘Jack the Ripper: Facts, No Fiction’ returns once more. The Keep hosts this popular event on Sunday 3rd July at 7:30pm. Sold out in 2014 and 2015, only advance bookings will guarantee seats for this amazing show.

The unstoppable ‘Rock Choir’ will bring their mix of contemporary music to Guildford town centre between 11am-4pm on Saturday 9th July. Saturday shopping will never be the same again!

So Sinatra

Wednesday 20th July (8pm) sees the original ‘Chairman of the Board’ come to Kokomo Cocktail Bar. With free entry
and delicious cocktails on offer, this will be a memorable night out for sure!

The Guildford Institute will host Guildford Fringe Performing Arts’ fabulous Children’s Musical Theatre 2-day workshops the final week of July. For 7-12 year olds, West End stars will teach aspects of Mamma Mia or We Will Rock You.
