A night of Bublé at Guildford Fringe Festival
Guildford folk attending this year’s Guildford Fringe Festival can see a Michael Bublé tribute act at Bar des Arts this month (July, 2015).
Albie J Smith will perform as Canadian singer Michael Bublé at the bar, which is located opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Millbrook, on July 23 from 8pm.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be performing at Bar des Arts as part of the Guildford Fringe Festival. I am hoping it will give me the opportunity to take my act to a whole new range of people and gain some new fans along the way.
“During the show I will be performing Michael’s most well-known hits including ‘Haven’t Met You’ and ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’.”
Berkshire-based Albie was inspired from a young age by the likes of Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. He is also a singer-songwriter and has worked with Ne-Yo and Missy Elliott.
As well as performing a tribute to Michael Bublé, Albie will be also perform popular chart hits from Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, Robin Thick and more.

Guildford Fringe Festival takes place at various venues around Guildford, including The Keep, Firefly @ The Keystone, G Live, The Legion and The Mill Studio at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, from July 1 until 26. The diverse events include theatre, burlesque, comedy, kid’s shows, music, dance, exhibitions, talks and cabaret and is open to everyone.
Bar des Arts is a champagne and cocktail bar. A range of wine, beers, cocktails, champagne and soft drinks are available to purchase, along with meat or cheese platters. The bar hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, including live music, dance performances, open mic nights and many more.
