“some meaty layers between those aubergines.”

Rebekka wants to avoid the usual comedy show cliches such as a moral message 3/4 of the way in, telling you about her new baby but- if you’re lucky -they’ll be some meaty layers between those aubergines.

Her Grandfather was a magician so expect a surreal comedy show that goes on a whimsical journey of wordplay, puns, characters and impressions as she tries to better fit in. It has contemporary themes such as social awkwardness and frustrations with life aswell as sillier ones like food, pop culture and Su Pollard.

Rebekka Turner is an up and coming act to the professional circuit who is well versed in eccentric stand-up and is known for her celebrity impressions that are peppered in to her performances. She was a Quarter Finalist for Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2018, won the Pebble Trust Brighton Fringe Award 2018, was a Runner Up for the Alternative New Comedian of the Year 2016 and most importantly was a Laughing Horse New Act of the Year Semi-Finalist 2015.

She has had solo shows at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Brighton Fringe and she had hoped to to take her first hour to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2020 but sadly that was not to be, however before things went tits up she got to preview her show at The Albany, Angel Comedy and The Bradford Online Fringe in 2020. This Summer she is taking the show to The Guildford, Camden and Bradford Fringes.

“Rebekka was hilarious” Scott Capurro

“Rebekka Turner, if her comedy seems frenetic that’s because it is. Fearlessly funny, gorgeously unhinged and imaginative, you will not get bored watching Rebekka.” Funny Women

“Rebekka Turner is the captain beefheart of alternative comedy. Truly a one of a kind talent.” Sam Dunthorne

‘Charming and hilarious love child of Tommy Cooper, Eddie Izzard and Victoria Wood’ Sajeela Kershi
