The Foraging Fan Club is a new, solo, comedy show, written and performed by Helen Wood. It is a celebration of all aspects of foraging – the challenges, the dangers and the joy of discovery.
It’s a fast-paced, quirky, feel-good show in which Helen leads the audience on a multi-sensory adventure through the seasons, on a quest to become an expert forager. It’s full of audience engagement, humour and storytelling. People leave the show as new, badge-wearing members of the club.
“It’s escapist and informative, warm and engaging,” said an audience member at a preview show.
This is the third in a series of five-star, sell-out Fan Club shows; Helen having previously shared her love of Ordnance Survey maps and her enthusiastic attempts to visit every National Trust property.

“The popularity of foraging has flourished in recent years and I’m hoping that there are many foraging enthusiasts in Guildford. I’m looking forward to sharing with them the joy of finding food for free.” Says Helen Wood.
